Épreuve blanche CO 3 : le dernier réglage

P44.b2-listening.22 · Audience: guest, language-pro, it-ml

Unité CO-24 · campagne 19 · la dernière avant la vraie.

Third and final timed listening run before the exam window. The protocol does not change — a self-set 30-minute timer, one sitting, one pass, no rewinding, answers committed — because the whole point of a third run is that nothing feels new anymore. Nerves feed on novelty; deny them.

What is new is the read-out. When you finish, put the three runs side by side:

  • Trend first. The scores should climb, or hold above 85 %. A dip on run 3 with a clean trap journal usually means fatigue or rushing, not regression — check how long your 30 minutes actually took.
  • Trap families second. Compare today's misses with the CO-23 taxonomy. A family that survived three runs (le mot repris is the usual hardy one) gets a rule written on your one-page exam card: e.g. "the choice that echoes the audio word-for-word is guilty until proven innocent."
  • Verdict. Three runs at or above the bar, no family recurring: the CO section is exam-ready, and remaining study time belongs to the weaker skill. Below the bar: one more self-built run (any four fresh B2 passages) after a rest day — not the same evening.

The passages stay at full exam difficulty on ground you have not seen: patronage financing a retable's restoration (le mécénat culturel), a teleconsultation booth in a village mairie and its limits, an algae farm courting le grand public, and a canal-side véloroute rewriting how gîtes get booked. One pass. Trust the training.
