Épreuve blanche 1 : une heure, deux textes

This unit is a timed run. Before starting the items, set a timer yourself — phone, kitchen clock, anything — for 60 minutes: the app deliberately shows no countdown, because on exam day the only clock is the room's. Treat everything below as one sitting: no dictionary, no pauses, no checking answers mid-way.

The time budget you are rehearsing:

• 25 minutes — the informative text (exercice 1).
• 30 minutes — the argumentative text (exercice 2), longer and worth starting fresh, not exhausted.
• 5 minutes — final re-read of your justifications: at the DELF a correct vrai/faux with a wrong citation scores zero, so the re-read goes to citations first, comfort answers last.

Two rules of engagement:

1. The two-minute rule. A question that resists for two minutes gets a mark in the margin and you move on. Questions follow the text's order; the next one re-anchors you, and the marked one often unlocks on the second pass.
2. Order is yours. Nothing obliges you to take the texts in booklet order — but decide before the clock starts, not at minute twenty.

The set below mixes the épreuve's real diet: a stated-detail question, a thesis question, a vrai/faux + justification mechanic, and one question about the method itself. When the hour ends, stop — an honest unfinished run teaches more than a stretched perfect one.
