Your study campaign: the two-week block

P51.notice-and-review.05 · Audience: guest, language-pro, it-ml · Prerequisites: The bi-weekly diagnostic: measure, adapt, repeat

Everything on this pillar — the diagnostic, the daily notice loop, the reminder deck, the checkpoint, the weekly review — is machinery. A campaign is what points that machinery at the next two weeks and says do this, in this order, in this dose.

A campaign is a 2-week block, opened by your last diagnostic and closed by the next. Its shape is not generic — it is drawn from your diagnostic's axis buckets:

  • your long-game axis (usually a fossilized one) gets a daily stream of short units;
  • a steady-work axis gets two or three units across the fortnight;
  • a quick-win axis gets a couple of exam-technique units, until it closes;
  • an axis you have already brought to B2 drops to a single maintenance unit — enough to hold it, not enough to waste effort.

Checkpoints fall every few units (retrieval, not recognition — the same gate you already know), and each campaign carries one can-do milestone: a concrete "by the end of this fortnight I can…" that the closing diagnostic checks.

When the two weeks are up, you take the full diagnostic again. It re-ranks your axes, and the next campaign is redrawn from the new picture: an axis that closed drops to maintenance, an axis that slipped gets more volume, and the errors you made during the campaign's exercises feed the next diagnostic's item selection. You are never staring at a flat list of lessons wondering what to do today — you are always inside a block with a finish line.
