Beyond B2: débat rapide (C1-facing)

Unité PO-36 · campagne 25 · du tac au tac — the last rung of the oral axis.
The B2 débat gives you time to think. The C1-facing débat rapide does not: turns shorten, hand-backs accelerate, and the skill under test is la répartie — answering du tac au tac with the grammar still standing. Three moves join the six you know:
- Interrompre poliment — Permettez-moi de vous interrompre... / Si je peux me permettre... — then make one point, not three.
- Reprendre la parole — J'y reviens un instant... — take the floor back the moment an argument weakens.
- Céder du terrain sélectivement — give ground fast on secondary points to keep speed for the ones that matter.
Rules of this run: short turns — every rebuttal in two sentences maximum, no thinking pause over three seconds (buy time in French: C'est une bonne question...). Speed is the point; precision is the mark.
