Reading comprehension, once you hold B2, decays quietly. You keep reading, but always the same source, in the same register, and your range narrows without warning. This maintenance unit hands you a weekly ritual that keeps the range open with no material beyond the free press.
The protocol is built on comparison. Each week, pick one event and read it in three contrasting sources — a national daily, a regional title, an online outlet. Then note not the facts, which repeat, but the écart: what each source foregrounds and what it passe sous silence. Point of view is not announced; it lives in the choice of what to emphasise and what to omit, and comparison is the only way to see it.

The excerpts practise exactly that reading muscle on fresh ground: the protocol itself, then a vélo-cargo reshaping the dernier kilomètre, an outilthèque lending drills instead of books, and a time-based exchange system where every hour trades à parité. Read each for its core claim, then ask what a rival source might have left out. That question, asked weekly, keeps a passed B2 from slipping back.
